Getting the perfect collar fit should feel easy-peasy, not ruff. 🐶 With our printable ruler, you can measure your dog’s neck right at home using everyday items — no fancy tools required. You can use your pup’s current collar, or grab something flexible like a string, belt, tie, or even the sleeve of a shirt. Gently wrap it around your dog’s neck (no tying, please!), then lay it flat against the ruler to find their size.
For maximum comfort (and happy tail wags), be sure to leave enough room for two fingers between the collar and your dog’s neck — think snug, not squishy. If your dog’s neck is bigger than 12 inches, don’t worry! Just measure in cozy little sections and add them together. As a guide, Medium collars fit necks from 13” to 21”, and Large collars fit 16” to 27”.
